I've been involved with hunting and fishing my whole life. I am a former archery pro shop owner, worked hunting and fishing trade shows for 15 years, shot in archery tournaments, and participated in deer calling contests and won. I've also produced several hunting video's and even written several hunting and fishing songs. My trophy room has some nice bucks, bass, turkey, boars, etc. Not saying this to brag but to let you know I'm not just some guy that wrote a few songs.
I BEGAN HUNTING AT THE AGE OF SIX.

Going hunting and fishing with my dad and his friends was the big thrill of my childhood. At the age of eight dad let me carry a 22. At the age of ten a shotgun. At the age of twelve I purchased a new Savage pump shotgun with monies I earned from my paper route. Yes, back then kids like me delivered news papers on a bicycle. Hunting my uncles land as a kid produced some of my best childhood memories. Especially those memories when I came out of the woods with more rabbits than the adults.

BEING IN THE FIELD AS MUCH AS I'VE BEEN

in my life it would stand to reason that it's where some good ideas would come to me. This idea would be no exception. Thus the name Tree Stand Songs. I remember vividly when the idea came to me. I was sitting on stand and still giggling about the zany antics I had witnessed the night before on an Outdoors with M & TK video. When it dawned on me that outdoorsmen would probably like hunting and fishing songs as well. Because we know there's plenty of laughable things that happens to us all, every year while in the field.
